A man from the northern side of the country returning home from the big city, stand-up comedian Jake Sliberman is ready to show the world that DA NORTH has some very funny things to say.

Filmed inside Helium Comedy Club in Portland, OR, his debut comedy special, Live From Portland, showcases the comedic magic that has made him one of the best jokesters in the country.

Silberman tackles a wide variety of topics that will have fans laughing all night long, including leaving and returning to Portland, people who are addicted to the news, the 2024 election, people who still go to nightclubs, and much more.

Jake Silberman: Jake Silberman is a New York City comedian who’s been relentlessly touring the country over the last three years. He’s headlined numerous clubs, including Helium Comedy, The Comedy Club of Kansas City and Comedy Corner Underground. Jake is a regular opener for Kyle Kinane and Nick Mullen, and has also opened for comedy greats Nate Bargatze and the late Norm Macdonald. His special “The Crowd Work Album” is currently streaming on Tubi, with the album version put out by Helium Comedy Records. His recently released documentary “Back at It” chronicles the return of stand up comedy after the pandemic, following Jake as he tours the country while interviewing comics and fellow Americans along the way. Jake’s work has been featured on “Now This News” and his podcast “The Jake Silberman Show” can be heard every Friday. When in New York Jake can be found performing in numerous clubs across the city.
