On April 15, comedian Tim Dillon is set to return to Netflix with I’m Your Mother, a new stand-up special that will premiere globally on the service.
The special is Dillon’s second for Netflix in recent memory following This Is Your Country, an unscripted hour framed as a Jerry Springer-style talk show, which took on the political and cultural climate in the U.S. leading up to the 2024 presidential election.
Described as a no-holds-barred, unapologetic ride through today’s chaos, the new hour sees Dillon tackle everything from his odd loyalty to the British royal family to roasting the world’s absurdities and more with no filter. Filmed at the Comedy Mothership in Austin, Texas, it’s written, directed and performed by Dillon, who exec produced alongside manager Dave Becky.
A brilliant satirist known for his no-holds-barred humor and incisive social commentary, Dillon’s first Netflix stand-up special A Real Hero, in which he rants about fast food, living in Texas, Disney adults and the reason no one should be called a hero, premiered in 2022.
He has additional history with the streamer, in the form of a short set for its series The Comedy Lineup, and an additional recent appearance on roast special Torching 2024.
Dillon’s podcast, The Tim Dillon Show, averages over a million viewers a week between video and audio downloads. He tours theaters internationally and has been a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience 15 times. Recently seen in both Eli Roth’s box office hit Thanksgiving and Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux.
