Adulthood may not be what you expected, but who says it can’t be? The comedy series follows a crew of chaotic-but-trying twenty-somethings attempting to figure out how to be “adults.” What’s more adult than having to do your own laundry? (Answer: nothing.) But whoever said laundry had to be a drag clearly never pre-gamed at a laundromat.

From morning until evening, guests will score an Adults-branded laundry card loaded with one free cycle, coffee, and bodega snacks on the house to fuel your day, vending machines with surprise drops, a one-card tarot pull for a quick energy read, and live DJs soundtracking your spin cycle all day long.
By night [7pm-10pm]:the energy in the laundromat shifts and the party kicks into high gear. Lights down. Music up. Sounds curated by some of the most sought-after artists and DJs. Guests can expect vending machines with Adults-branded ‘laundry lifesaver’ giveaways, bodega snacks, impromptu Polaroid photoshoots, bar service with cocktails, mocktails, and beer, and dance-floor therapy.

FX’s Adults is an ensemble comedy series about a group of twenty-somethings in New York trying to be good people, despite being neither “good” nor “people” yet. “Samir” (Malik Elassal), “Billie” (Lucy Freyer), “Paul Baker” (Jack Innanen), “Issa” (Amita Rao) and “Anton” (Owen Thiele) are five friends crashing together in Samir’s childhood home, where they share their meals, anxieties and, occasionally, toothbrushes.
Created by Ben Kronengold & Rebecca Shaw (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon), the show puts a slightly heightened twist on the wins, losses and humiliations of starting out in the adult world. Whether they’re trying to get ahead at work, navigating the healthcare system, hosting a dinner party or dating in the age of Find My Friends, the group is finding that nothing about the real world is simple, and all their best intentions tend to make things worse. These friends are works-in-progress, brimming with bad ideas and whatever their latest “theory of adulthood” might be. But there’s one thing they consistently get right: showing up for each other.
FX’s Adults is executive produced by Ben Kronengold & Rebecca Shaw, Nick Kroll (Big Mouth, The League), Stefani Robinson (Atlanta, What We Do in the Shadows), Sarah Naftalis (What We Do in the Shadows) and Jonathan Krisel (Baskets, English Teacher). Alicia Van Couvering (Tiny Furniture, Drinking Buddies) also serves as an executive producer under Kroll’s Good At Business banner. Adults is produced by FX Productions.
