Netflix is once again hosting a showcase of up-and-coming comedians for its annual Netflix Is a Joke Festival.
Dubbed “Introducing…,” the showcase will feature 10 stand-ups who will each perform a 5-7 minute set across two shows in one night. The event takes place on May 8 at the Avalon in Hollywood, with showtimes at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The sets will be recorded and edited, and then uploaded to Netflix Is a Joke’s YouTube channel and social platforms.
In his Introducing… set for Netflix is a Joke, comedian Eva Evans jokes about her Jamaican family and why she’s never taking a hood guy to church again.
