Netflix has announced that Super Funny, the debut comedy special of comedian Nate Jackson, will begin streaming globally on July 8.

In his high-energy hour, featuring plenty of material and crowd work alike, which was taped at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle, WA, Jackson tackles everything from racially questionable cookies to other everyday absurdities.

Marcus Russell Price directed the hour, with Jackson exec producing alongside Zack Waxenberg and Larry Meyer.

Jackson also this morning announced his new Big Dog Tour, kicking off September 18th at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will include over 20 dates across North America, with more to be announced shortly.

With over four million TikTok followers and 600 million global views, Jackson is notably the rare stand-up comic to own his own club — Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma, WA. Outside of his stand-up, he has recurred on NBC’s Young Rock and made additional appearances in Spirited (Apple TV+), Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO), Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘n Out (MTV), All Def Comedy (HBO), Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City (Comedy Central), and Comic View (BET).

Next up, Jackson will be seen in The Paper, Peacock’s reboot of The Office, which is expected to premiere in September. He also shares the screen with Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, and Keke Palmer in Aziz Ansari’s Lionsgate comedy Good Fortune, which debuts in theaters on October 17.
