HBO has set Friday, Nov. 28, for the Season 2 premiere of its completely oddball late-night comedy It’s Florida, Man. New episodes of the six-episode series will debut weekly on HBO and also will stream on HBO Max.
From HBO’s Eastbound & Down and The Righteous Gemstones producers Rough House Pictures and Range Studios, It’s Florida, Man features ripped-from-the-headlines tales of the Sunshine State – straight from the people who live there. Per the official synopsis, the show features candid accounts from everyday Floridians playfully re-created by a rotating cast of actors and comedians, this irreverent series sheds light on the viral, wacky and weird. It’s described as a love letter to the beaches, backwaters and basements of a misunderstood yet magical state.
Season 2 guest stars include Adam DeVine, Edi Patterson, Tiffany Haddish, Haley Joel Osment, Bert Kreischer, Nick Swardson, Johnny Knoxville, Shea Whigham, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Holmes, David Koechner, Joel Kim Booster, Chet Hanks, Milan Carter, Nick Thune, Swoozie Kurtz, Johnny Pemberton, Ryan Mirvis, Brian Sacca, Ping Wu, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Frankie Quiñones, Hassie Harrison, Joseph Ruud and Michael McDonald.
Season 2 of It’s Florida, Man is created and executive produced by Mark Herwick for Range Studios and Jeff Tomsic, who also directs. Danny McBride and Brandon James exec produce for Rough House Pictures.
