A new hub for laughter, creativity, and neighborhood community is set to open in Greenpoint this spring with the launch of Greenpoint Comedy Club, founded by husband and wife Jeremy Pinsly and Kayla Sossin. The venue — situated in the heart of one of Brooklyn’s most dynamic neighborhoods — will offer an intimate, vibrant space for stand-up comedy, variety shows, open mics, and special events starting in Spring 2026.
For the past eight weeks, Pinsly and Sossin have been transforming the space at 66 Greenpoint Avenue into a welcoming bar-slash-performance venue designed to spotlight the best local and touring comedic talent and provide an inclusive stage for voices across the comedy spectrum.
“Our vision for Greenpoint Comedy Club is rooted in community — giving performers a platform and audiences an unforgettable night out without the typical high cover charges,” said founder Jeremy Pinsly, a performer-turned-venue owner active in the NYC comedy scene. “We wanted to create a place where laughter brings neighbors together and strengthens the local cultural fabric.”
Co-founder Kayla Sossin added, “We’ve always believed that great comedy thrives in personal, close-knit settings. At Greenpoint Comedy Club, everyone — from seasoned pros to emerging voices — will feel at home onstage.”
