The ground is officially broken… and now someone has to deal with the mess.

Comedian and construction chaos coordinator King Jester is back with Episode 2 of his comedy series Breaking Ground, titled “Concrete & Consequences.” The latest installment delivers another dose of hard-hat humor, questionable decision-making, and the kind of workplace wisdom you only get from people who absolutely should not be in charge.

After the first episode cracked open the world of construction-site comedy, “Concrete & Consequences” dives even deeper—literally and figuratively—into the unpredictable daily grind of trying to build something solid when the crew itself might be the biggest hazard on the site.

In this episode, King Jester and the crew attempt what should be a simple job: pouring concrete. But between miscommunications, overconfidence, and someone who definitely lied on their résumé about knowing how to operate equipment, the project quickly turns into a masterclass in how small mistakes lead to very large, very permanent consequences.

“Concrete waits for no one,” Jester says during the episode. “Once it starts setting, so does your reputation.”

Blending stand-up style commentary with sketch comedy and workplace satire, Breaking Ground continues to build its reputation as a series that finds humor in everyday chaos. Episode 2 captures the universal truth that every job has that one coworker who says, “Trust me, I’ve done this before”—right before everything goes terribly wrong.

Fans can expect awkward teamwork, construction-site philosophy, and the kind of hilarious miscalculations that make viewers grateful they’re not the ones holding the shovel.

With “Concrete & Consequences,” King Jester proves that while foundations may crack, the laughs are rock solid.
