Get ready for a night of unforgettable laughter as We Own The Laughs returns to the newly reopened The Well Comedy Club for a special comedy showcase on Friday, June 26th at 7PM.
Bringing together an exciting blend of hometown favorites and nationally touring comedians, this one-night-only event promises nonstop entertainment from some of the funniest rising and established comedians today.
The evening’s lineup features viral comedy sensation Stephanie Mateo, whose fearless humor, vibrant personality, and unapologetic storytelling have earned her a loyal fanbase across social media and beyond. Joining her is the naturally gifted D’Maurier Johnson, a performer many consider a comedy prodigy thanks to his effortless stage presence and undeniable charisma.
Also taking the stage is former star athlete turned stand-up standout Kyle “K-Mitch” Mitchell, who transformed the same energy and showmanship that once electrified crowds on the field into one of comedy’s brightest emerging careers. Houston native Maddi Mays will bring her sharp wit and high-energy style to Bakersfield after appearances at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival and New York Comedy Festival, as well as opening for comedy stars including Marlon Wayans and Ralph Barbosa.
Headlining the evening is one of Bakersfield’s very own comedy favorites, Tyson Paul. With more than two decades in the comedy business, Tyson has shared the stage with some of the industry’s biggest names including Mark Curry, Tiffany Haddish, Amy Schumer, Ari Shaffir, Annie Lederman, and Alfred Robles, solidifying himself as one of the Central Valley’s most respected comedic voices.
This is an 18+ comedy event with food and beverages available through The Well Comedy Club. Doors open at 6PM with showtime beginning promptly at 7PM.
