Fox’s free ad-supported streaming service, Tubi, has set its most expansive creator partnership yet: a multi-project, multi-year slate with comedian, actor and digital creator Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks.

Building on the success of the Tubi Original Safe Space, a comedy series co-created, directed, exec produced by and starring Fredericks, which premiered last November, Tubi is deepening the collaboration across formats and genres.

In the near future, Fredericks will be releasing two more seasons of Safe Space, plus a new scripted workplace comedy, his first comedy special for a major streamer, and original feature films for the platform.

In Safe Space, KevOnStage plays the underqualified Dr. Fredericks, whose mission is to help guide struggling couples back to a place of healing. The show’s eight-episode second season premieres in June, with Season 3 slated for July 2027.

The comedian’s new 10-episode comedy series, The Airport, is set in the country’s most dysfunctional airport, where an ill-equipped staff struggles to keep things running amid constant chaos. That title premieres this November.

Fredericks’ comedy special Grief Sucks, where he offers a heartfelt and comedic take on grief and family, premieres February 21, 2027. Then, there are the aforementioned films — a holiday comedy and horror comedy, which are slated for 2027 and 2028, respectively.

“This slate is what happens when a platform believes in a creator’s full vision and gives them room to grow,” Fredericks said in a statement on the slate deal. “Tubi has given me the platform to do it all, from producing my first stand-up special to developing my first films, while also creating opportunities for up-and-coming creators, especially Black creators whose voices deserve to be amplified. Comedy has always been central to who I am, and getting to bring these projects to life with a partner that truly believes in the work has been incredibly meaningful. We’re building something much bigger than one show, and I can’t wait for people to see what’s coming.”

With millions of followers and a track record spanning stand-up, television and film, KevOnStage has also previously partnered with Tubi on the release of Bald Brothers, a fully improvised comedy series created with comedian Tony Baker. He’s also known for projects like the BET+ comedy Church, TBS’s Friday Night Vibes, and the podcast Not My Best Moment, produced in partnership with iHeartMedia and Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton’s Unanimous Media.

“Kevin has built a powerful connection with audiences through authentic, laugh-out-loud storytelling,” said Rich Bloom, General Manager, Creator Programs & Executive Vice President, Business Development at Tubi. “Expanding our partnership with him reflects our commitment to giving creators who bring unique voices and loyal fanbases to the platform the runway to go bigger, whether that means a new series, a stand-up special, or their first films.”

Since launching Tubi for Creators, a program intended to accelerate its investment in the creator space, in June 2025, digital-first creator content on Tubi has grown to over 20,000 episodes from more than 300 creators. The streamer announced its first exclusive creator series slate, also featuring Joey Graceffa, TheOneShu, Bigg Jah, Rock Squad, and Dan & Riy, last November. It announced new original series with Keith Lee, Bob the Drag Queen, and Sofi Manassyan less than six months later, and most recently announced The Fast Lane, a live “altcast experience” hosted by Michelle Khare and Jeremiah Burton, which is pegged to the 2026 Formula 1 season.
