Oxnard Levity Live Comedy Club and the adjacent Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen, both located at The Collection at RiverPark, will permanently close their doors on August 17, 2026, marking the end of a major entertainment and dining destination in Ventura County.

The closure impacts 69 employees and follows the company’s decision not to renew its expiring lease at the property. After years of providing live comedy, music, dining, and nightlife experiences to the Oxnard community, the venues will conclude operations this summer.

Located within the popular mixed-use destination The Collection at RiverPark, the two venues—Levity Live Comedy Club and Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen—have served as key anchors in the region’s entertainment scene, hosting nationally touring comedians, live bands, and late-night programming that contributed to the cultural and social energy of the area.

Management emphasized that the decision was driven solely by the lease term conclusion and the business’s choice not to pursue renewal, rather than day-to-day operations or community support.

“We are proud of the memories created here and grateful to the audiences, performers, staff, and partners who made these venues special,” the company said in a statement. “This was not an easy decision, but it is the conclusion of our current lease agreement.”

The closure represents a significant shift for The Collection at RiverPark, where both venues have played a central role in shaping the district’s entertainment footprint. Guests are encouraged to visit and celebrate the final weeks of programming leading up to the closing date.

Final shows, events, and farewell celebrations are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as the venues prepare to host their last performances.
