Sara Weinshenk sits down with Josh Potter for a very SHENK conversation that somehow goes from The Flintstones to sleep paralysis, celebrity guardian angels, Austin restaurants, hyperbaric chambers, dating disasters, family boundaries, veganism, blood types and the question nobody needed to ask: which human would be better to eat?
Josh tells Sara about a terrifying sleep paralysis experience where he was being attacked in his bedroom, while Sara talks about a dream where Hayden Panettiere showed up with wings to save her. They also get into Josh’s snoring, a possible deviated septum, and the strange things that happen when you sleep badly.
Later, Sara recounts getting extremely high at a Michelin-star restaurant in Austin and realizing they forgot the cash for the tip. The conversation eventually spirals into dating, Thanksgiving invitations, parents knowing too much about your love life, veganism, human meat, mosquitoes and cow blood types.
