Netflix has released the official Senior Year trailer for its forthcoming comedy film, starring Rebel Wilson. It is scheduled to make its debut on Friday, May 13.

The video, which you can check out below along with the key art and images, features Wilson as she portrays a 37-year-old woman who just woke up from a 20-year coma. She goes back to a completely different high school in order to fulfill the goals she set for her senior year before her accident.

The trailer makes it clear that there will be plenty of references from the last two decades of entertainment for Wilson’s character be shocked about, from Madonna’s copycat (sorry, Lady Gaga fans) to Harry Potter — but apparently without the magic. As usual, Wilson will make the best out of an absurd character, which this time is a seventeen-year old girl trapped in the body of a fully grown adult. The concept is hardly new, but it makes for some fun moments in the hands of an expert comedian.

Senior Year stars Rebel Wilson, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Mary Holland, Justin Hartley, Chris Parnell, Angourie Rice, Michael Cimino, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Brandon Scott Jones, Alicia Silverstone,  Joshua Colley, Jade Bender, and Avantika.

“After a cheerleader falls off a pyramid and into a 20-year coma, she wakes up as a 37-year-old woman, ready to return to high school, regain her status and claim the prom queen crown that eluded her,” reads the synopsis.

Senior Year is directed by Alex Hardcastle from a screenplay written by Andrew Knauer, Arthur Pielli, and Brandon Scott Jones, based on the story by Knauer and Pielli. Producers are Wilson, Todd Garner, Timothy M. Bourne, and Chris Bender, with Jeremy Stein and Jake Wagner set as executive producers.
