New York comedian finally gets his chance to separate himself from the legendary pack and prove his damn worth.

Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che has just released the trailer for his six-part comedy series entitled That Damn Michael Che.

His sketches and vignettes illustrate what it feels like to experience various everyday situations including racial profiling, unemployment, falling in love and more, from Che’s perspective. It will feature SNL cast members Cecily Strong, Heidi Gardner, Colin Quinn, Ellen Cleghorne, and Che’s “Weekend Update” co-anchor Colin Jost, along with guest stars Omari Hardwick, Geoffrey Owens, Godfrey, Billy Porter, and Method Man.

That Damn Michael Che premieres May 6th on HBO Max.
