Rose Byrne is Physical!
Apple TV+ has released a trailer for “Physical,” a series that follows a determined housewife in 1980s Southern California as she begins to build an aerobics empire. Following an initial announcement in February 2021, the new minute-long trailer serves as a quick teaser to get viewers acquainted with the show. It begins by showing the main character, Sheila, daydreaming about being a backup dancer to cope with her role as a dutiful housewife. A quietly tormented housewife in ’80s San Diego, who behind closed door battles extreme personal demons and a vicious inner voice. But things change when she discovers aerobics, sparking a journey toward empowerment and success.
“Physical” joins other Apple TV+ comedies, including sports comedy “Ted Lasso” and workplace-meets-gaming comedy “Mythic Quest.”
The 10-episode series is billed as a dark comedy and will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 18.
