How did you discover your passion for comedy:
An improv instructor invited me to perform in his Sunday Morning Stand-Up Show at Second City Chicago.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
Feeling an overwhelming sense of serenity. I felt like I was home for the first time. That’s how I described it.

How would you describe your comedic style:
Riff and storytelling

Describe your process for comedic writing:
I write first thing in the morning.

Describe the comedy scene in your area:
Los Angeles is a mix of parks, parking lots, restaurants, cafes and comedy clubs.

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
Getting Paid!

Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Steven Briggs, his comedy is 24/7. I love his sound effects! He’s talented, passionate, and positive! Also, Carol Newell, the world’s best laugh works a full-time office job and puts on shows and mics full of women and people of color all over Los Angeles 5-7 times a week!

What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
Producing my own stand-up comedy show and getting two sponsors to pay for it.

What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
Resilience is important!

How do people react towards you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
They ask me to make them laugh.

Describe what it’s been like building a career in stand-up comedy:
Some days are great and some suck. Comics are an interesting breed. I’m taking it all in

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
Comics should get paid more.

Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
Perform every day and enjoy the process.

If you were releasing a comedy special this week, what would it be called:
Naturally Offensive

Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
I met Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins lead singer during the 90s. I was such a huge fan, I was speaking so quickly, and I was spitting at him.

Weirdest place you’ve ever performed any form of comedy:
Park where two dogs started humping in the audience.

A Susie Sitcom Fun Fact:
I trained in Mixed Martials Arts in the late 90s. I ranked second in the Nation in Wekaf.

Where would you like your laughs to take you:
Selling out arenas around the world & creating my own sitcom.

What would you tell a potential comedian if they ask you how they can own the laughs:
Be positive, work hard and enjoy the process!

What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
People will be able to perform stand up from their Apple Watches.

If you could write one episode for one classic TV sitcom which show would be and give a brief detailed sentence on the episode:
I Love Lucy. She decides to bring her kids to watch Ricky perform at a live telethon. Lucy accidentally spills her glass of wine on Ricky. He goes to wash it off in the restroom and her celebrity crush walks by. Trying to act cool she leans on some lighting cans for balance and knocks them over to block the bathroom door. The host announces her husband’s name and does not see him. Lucy decides to make it better by telling jokes on stage.

If you could choose 1 comedy club and 3 comedians to perform with on your perfect comedy show, how would it go:
Broadway Comedy Club with Janice Messitte, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and Myself.

What’s next for you:
Live stand-up performances and a sitcom.

Why should a person always laugh at life:
Laughter blocks the stress receptors, keeps you young, and attracts other positive things.
