How did you discover your passion for comedy:
My friend convinced me to write 5 jokes and go to a mic, I became obsessed no matter how many times I thought I should quit.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
The feeling when you get a laugh.

How would you describe your comedic style:
Storytelling with punchlines.

Describe your process for comedic writing:
Find a subject funny, put it in my notes then try the subject at a mic to come up with tags to make a funny bit.

Describe the comedy scene in your area:
Los Angeles Comedy scene is one of the biggest with mics every night and 3 amazing clubs, but since COVID, that has all changed.

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
Making money off your comedy or writing.

Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Darius Bennett, Audrey Stewart, Willie Simon, & Fanto

What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
I got to feature at a casino in a small town in Texas and I had several people ask fo my autograph after. Made me feel like I was making an impact with my comedy.

How do people react towards you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
My sense of humor is what brings people around me.

Describe what it’s been like building a career in stand-up comedy:
It’s one of the most difficult things I’ve ever pursued.

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
I would make it so there were more opportunities to be seen by bookers.

Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
Just keep going, you’ll get better and better.

If you were releasing a comedy special this week, what would it be called:

Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
I told Anders Holm “I Love You!” and he said, “Thank You!”

Weirdest place you’ve ever performed any form of comedy:
The parking lot of a hardware store.

Where would you like your laughs to take you:
I can’t wait until I have an hour special and my podcast has paid sponsors 10,000 monthly listeners.

What would you tell a potential comedian if they ask you how they can own the laughs:
Be yourself and make the most of the thrill you get from being on stage.

What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
I feel like it’s changed so much in 2020 with media being the main source of comedy I have no idea what’s next for live comedy.

If you could write one episode for one classic TV sitcom which show would be and give a brief detailed sentence on the episode:
Seinfeld! I would write an episode where Kramer was raising chickens in the apartment building for his new fried chicken restaurant.

What’s next for you:
Writing more scripts and starring in TV shows.

Cause nothing should be taken too seriously.
