One of the creators of Scary Movie is heading back to the horror-comedy genre.
Marlon Wayans is heading back to familiar territory for a new Netflix Halloween comedy. The film, which is currently untitled, will be directed by Jeff Wadlaw with a script by Rob Rugan, Todd Berger, and John R. Morey.
The film follows “a teenage girl, who after accidentally unleashing an ancient and mischievous spirit on Halloween, which causes decorations to come alive and wreak havoc, must team up with the last person she’d want to in order to save their town – her skeptical father (Wayans).”
No word on when the film is slated to come out, but our guess would most likely be 2022.
