How did you discover your passion for comedy:
After I went up for the first time, I started studying comedy as opposed to watching it & my passion grew from there.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
I didn’t do well, but I loved the feeling.

How would you describe your comedic style:
Observational Comedy

Describe your process for comedic writing:
Pretty much all of my comedy are things I’ve experienced. I try to make sure 7-8 seconds don’t go by without laughter as I’m storytelling.

Describe the comedy scene in your area:
Laid back & chill

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
Building a platform from comedy to be a voice for bigger issues in society.

Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Frankie Marcos, B Mo, & Joe Hill

What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
Performing at Cobbs Comedy Club

What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
Provides jokes as to where whatever ethnicity is in the crowd, they’ll relate.

How do people react towards you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
Always trying to give me jokes smh. (Laughs)

Describe what it’s been like building a career in stand-up comedy:
The most amazing journey. I played college basketball so I’m used to the grind, being patient, and being ready when opportunities come.

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
Egos

Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
Don’t hold the mic like you’re rapping (when I first started comedy)

If you were releasing a comedy special this week, what would it be called:
The Unexpected Obvious

Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
I haven’t met any celebs

Weirdest place you’ve ever performed any form of comedy:
In an alley

I played 4 instruments as a kid.

Where would you like your laughs to take you:
Around the world. I have a basketball training business so I would like to travel and run basketball clinics during the day and do comedy at night.

What would you tell a potential comedian if they ask you how they can own the laughs:
Be patient, perfect your craft, take all promises in this game with a grain of salt, and don’t take things personally.

What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
I think comedy is in great hands with upcoming talent. The best thing about comedy is you can do it until you die. with that being said, you’ll always have OG’s that can guide you each step of the way.

If you could write one episode for one classic TV sitcom which show would it be and give a brief detailed sentence on the episode:
Seinfeld, it’ll be along the lines of how assuming can make a fool out of anyone.

If you could choose 1 comedy club and 3 comedians to perform with on your perfect comedy show, how would it go:

What’s next for you:
Allah knows best. I just stay positive, keep grinding, and be a good person.

Why should a person always laugh at life:
It brings positivity to yourself and others. many are going through things others have no idea about so one laugh can mean much more to an individual than you may know.
