St. Louis comedian Tahir Moore constantly struggles with making words come out of his mouth correctly. Now weekly, Tahir challenges friends to a game of pronunciation titled Wording Is Harder. Each participant has to endure 5 difficult wording challenges as the score will be kept by game official Maye, who will also be judging very harshly. This week, Tahir is joined by Los Angeles, California actor/musician/content creator Mike Damn.
A Jamaican-American R&B singer with a infectious flair for acting, Mike Damn has never had problem sharing some “island vibes” sernading the ladies or improving with the fellas as one of his many unique characters. Mike is best known for his work with the popular YouTube comedy channel Dormtainment TV.
Born October 13, 1987, Mike would raised in Miami, Florida, but would later move to Atlanta, Georgia. While living in Atlanta, Mike would meet eventual best friends Cam, Chaz, Rome, Amanuel, and Tay, who would later form the comedy group Dormtainment TV in college at Georgia State University in 2009. The guys first made a name for themselves with their popular videos “Ass On the Internet” and “Straight Outta Dunwoody,” which were featured on NBC’s Today Show, Fox, and HuffingtonPost.
After pursuing every opportunity that they could in the dirty south, the Dormtainment team would pack their bags and move to Los Angeles to pursue better opportunities in writing, producing and starring in their own television show. Not one to give up on his amazing music, Mike made a big splash in 2016 with the release of his album titled RnWannaB creating a large following on Soundcloud and Spotify.
Once arrived in Los Angeles, Dormtainment would immediately receive their own Comedy Central Digital show entitled Six Guys One Car that would be featured on Youtube. This would lead to a content production deal with Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network. Mike has also been featured on various entertainment platforms including All Def Digital and Tru TV.
