How did you discover your passion for comedy:
I saw comics bomb at a show and then I thought “ I can do that”. Did an open mic the next day and got some laughs and I have been on stage ever since.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
I remember blacking out and getting laughs. I remember getting laughs and feeling a rush
of dopamine in my head. I was hooked instantly.

How would you describe your comedic style:
It is very conversational, and sometimes controversial. I like to have a good time up there. I like to bring the party, and I like to bury myself and then dig myself out.

Describe your process for comedic writing:
I wake up, read, drink some coffee and start thinking of questions and things that happened to me the day before.

Describe the comedy scene in your area:
It’s very young and new.

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
If you are doing comedy every weekend and making a living from it, you’ve made it!!!

Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Eli leonard, Katie Balen, & Max Ponte

What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
When you start bombing, and start to hate your material it means you are about to get better!

How do people react towards you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
They respect you.

Describe what it’s been like building a career in stand-up comedy:
It is not easy when you are not a famous tik-toker. Comedians are my favourite type of people, but it comes with a price. Comedians can be very narcissistic, petty, and nasty sometimes. Luckily I have avoided these people and found an amazing group of comedians to work with.

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
I would get rid of all the people who manage and book the main LA clubs. People who manage comedy clubs hate comedy, and it ruins the business and art of comedy.

Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
Do not be afraid to ask for stage time.

If you were releasing a comedy special this week, what would it be called:
“Get Errrr Dooonnnee!!!!”

Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
I met Andy Cohen when I did a reality show and he asked if I was into pegging.

Weirdest place you’ve ever performed any form of comedy:
I did a show for a bunch of Cholos in a warehouse. After the show, they brought out strippers and got lap dances. Oh, yea and I almost forgot, It was a Friendsgiving.

An Isaiah Castillo Fun Fact:
I have an Asian woman come to my house once a month to give me a pedicure while I drink a bloody mary and watch Desperate Housewives.

Where would you like your laughs to take you:
I want to be a national headliner. I want to be able to perform in any comedy club around the world.

What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
I think comedy is becoming more conversational, and comics are talking about their experiences, and their story. I think the days of set-up and punchline are going away.

If you could write one episode for one classic TV sitcom which show would it be and give a brief detailed sentence on the episode:
Seinfeld, Kramer says the N-word and the Laugh Factory and Jerry has to follow him.

If you could choose 1 comedy club and 3 comedians to perform with on your perfect comedy show, how would it go:
Louie C.K., Chris D’Elia, and Bill Cosby. I will call it the “Canceled Show”

What’s next for you:
I will be putting out a 30-minute special by 2023, and I will be opening for major headliners.

Why should a person always laugh at life:
We are all gonna die!
