This week, Apple TV+ premiered The Afterparty, a new murder mystery series starring Tiffany Haddish, Ben Schwartz, Sam Richardson, Ilana Glazer, Ike Barinholtz, Zoe Chao, and Dave Franco. In celebration of the premiere, Apple TV+ is giving viewers a taste for free by releasing the pilot episode directly onto their YouTube channel.
Episode 1 entitled “Aniq” revolves around a shocking death at a high school reunion’s afterparty, Detective Danner aggressively interviews Aniq, who recounts the night like a rom-com.
The Afterparty is a murder-mystery comedy set at a high school reunion afterparty. Each of the eight episodes will feature a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual format and film genre to match the narrator’s personality.
New episodes of the series drop every Friday.
