Machine Gun Kelly (real name Colson Baker) has a new movie coming out. This film stars Baker and he also co-wrote and directed the film with Mod Sun, who also is in the film. And we just got a look at the trailer.
Good Mourning is a stoner comedy that has a pretty stellar cast. The film follows what happens when “movie star London Clash (Baker) wakes up to an implied break up text from the love of his life, his world is turned upside down. And the timing couldn’t be worse because the most important meeting of his career is scheduled for later that same day. Compounded by chaotic roommates, and wildly unpredictable twists and turns, London’s day keeps going downhill until ultimately, he is forced to choose between pursuing his one true love and landing a life-changing, starring role in a major motion picture.”
Machine Gun Kelly is making a bid for screen roles both in front of and behind the camera. He stars in indie filmmaker’s Tim Sutton’s “Taurus” as a rock star in crisis. The movie premiered at the Berlin Film Festival recently, with Machine Gun Kelly playing a strung-out, drugged-up musician drifting through a “Last Days”-esque portrait. (Megan Fox co-stars in a one-shot cameo in that film.) “Baker has always been an engaging screen presence, but he’s never been more hypnotic than he is here,” IndieWire’s David Ehrlich wrote.
The cast for the film includes Baker, Sun, Becky G, Dove Cameron, GaTa, Zach Villa, Boo Johnson, Jenna Boyd, Whitney Cummings, w Megan Fox, and yes, Pete Davidson.
Good Mourning comes out in theaters and on demand May 20th.
