Arsenio Hall returns to late night with Arsenio! Live at Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival.
Special guests for the evening feature Arsenio with rapper Vince Staples, comedian/writer Neal Brennan, comedian Atsuko Okatsuka, and DJ CherishTheLuv.
Tonight’s show also features a stand-up comedy performance from comedian Dana Donnelly. The Los Angeles, California native is a well-known standup comedian who is known for her standup gigs and comments on Twitter and even funny tweets as she is followed by more than 110k users already. Furthermore, she was hired as the HBOAccess’s Pilot just after finishing her college degree. She has gained a huge fan base because of her tweets and replies in the Twitter account which she joined back in the year 2017 and has reached more than 112k followers in her Twitter account. She has been doing gigs with her sister Eve Donnelly in her accounts and people are loving them already.
The Arsenio Hall Show – which first ran from 1989 until 1994 before being revived in 2013 – will tape a series of episodes from the Netflix is a Joke Festival in Los Angeles next week. Hall will host the show from the Roosevelt Theater. The show will also be broadcast on the Netflix YouTube channel.
The show was a breakout success when it launched, taking younger viewers away from The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and introducing the audience’s canine-themed cheering in place of applause.
Netflix is a Joke Fest is an 11-day stand-up comedy festival backed by streaming giant Netflix, and will feature 130 comics with some of the biggest names in the industry in its inaugural lineup including Dave Chappelle, Seth Rogen, Chelsea Handler, Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr and Conan O’Brien. The L.A.-based event will take place across 25 venues.
Arsenio is hosting an exclusive, four-night-only run this week May 2nd through May 5th – airing only on Netflix Is A Joke’s YouTube channel.
