A native of the Lone Star State, this comedian would move to the west coast in the early 2000s and use his southern comedy to create a star all his own. To continue making his loved ones proud back home, Charles Allen would recently make an appearance inside the Funny Media Group’s Comedy Cube in Hollywood, CA, and record his latest comedy special.

Introducing the quick-witted, off-the-cuff Comedy of the Texas-born comedian Charles Allen aka “The Walking Movie Script”. Charles Allen moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and began his Stand Up Comedy career. He has quickly developed into one of the country’s funniest young comedians. Upon arriving in Hollywood, it did not take long for Charles’ unique blend of quick wit and comedic timing to be recognized, as he was cast for a supporting role in the Independent short film Kontrast in 2005. During the film’s premiere, the overwhelming crowd response to Charles’s supporting role eventually led to bigger film opportunities as he was soon cast as the role of “CJ” in Alton Glass’ 2005 Production “The Candy Shop”, starring Omar Gooding. After yet another amazing response, it was evident that his acting career was off to a brilliant start, and on the verge of a major breakout.   Charles is content with his Stand up material being that of quality, striving not only to be funny, but rather universally funny, clean, and timeless for all to enjoy.

Charles continues to make a name for himself on the comedy circuit, performing at venues across the country. Charles is also the creator of the sketch Comedy Production “Live from Left Field”, scheduled for release in 2007.

An ex- All American Track and Field athlete while at Kansas State University, and 2000 Olympic Trials Qualifier, Charles enjoys playing basketball, writing, and listening to music.
