During a recent performance at KevOnStage Keep Your Distance comedy event, Tacarra Williams shared hilarious material regarding being married to a relationship coach, realizing that she’s the toxic person in the relationship, and drunk women fitting into clothing, and much more.

Tacarra Williams is the consummate hyphenate–school teacher, plus-sized model, motivational speaker, and fearless writer. Known throughout the comedy industry as at “The Beautiful Beast,” from the moment she picks up the microphone, until the time she walks off stage, audiences can feel the laughter erupt–using her hard-won wisdom learned from the streets of NYC, her experience as a young mother, and her most recent endeavor as a Life Skills coach to inmates in the largest jail system in American, Tacarra dares to be the voice for every woman…never afraid to say what is on everyone’s mind, refusing to bow down to the prejudiced opinions of men Tacarra’s attitude towards female empowerment has earned her respect and love from women throughout the country.

Opening for the likes of Tony Rock, Deray Davis, and Bill Bellamy, her talent and wit cannot be denied. Having recently been featured on NBC’s Bring the Funny, Tacarra Williams has been described as “fearless” and “unapologetically honest.” As she pursues her dream of being a full-time comic, she has hit every major stage in New York and Hollywood, CA., including Carolines, Broadway Comedy Club, Apollo Theatre, Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital, and The Laugh Factory.  Her 30 min Comedy special, produced by Kevin Hart, has been featured on Comedy Central. If you think that’s notoriety, Tacarra is the only female in the history of the Shaq Comedy All-Star Competition to make it to the finals, and she is the very first Female host for Chocolate Sundaes at the Laugh Factory.

Kevin Fredericks launched his own streaming app, KevOnStage Studios, featuring shows starring him and other All Def alumni. The service has already built up a nice collection of original, for-us-by-us programming. Real Comedians Challenge Show is the flagship program, with Fredericks and comedians Tony Baker, Angel Laketa Moore and Tahir Moore (no relation) engaging in various challenges — painting, songwriting, applying makeup on somebody, etc. — talking trash to each other until one of them is victorious at the end.

There are also other shows, such as Black People Don’t Do Improv, a bare-bones improv game show; Explain This, where Fredericks and Tahir Moore sharpen their roasting skills by doing deep dives on comedians’ old photos; and Black Card Off Layaway, with African American comic Keysha E. engaging in foreign-to-her, Black activities like playing spades and making potato salad.

Fredericks also has a heavy, social-media following, with his 1.3 million followers on Instagram usually ready for all the viral-video commentaries and other funny clips he drops on the page. With the fan base he has online, it explains why several of the cities on his tour, which also features Tahir Moore and Angel Laketa Moore, have already sold out. (The Friday and Saturday shows he’ll be doing at the Improv this weekend are full.
