Filmed at Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival, Gabriel hilariously shares details about being a Los Angeles native, a recent attempt at extortion towards him, and where he holds the record for receiving the highest fine on stage. The actor and comedian made history on May 7, 2022 when he became the first comedian to ever perform at Dodger Stadium, the largest MLB stadium in the US. The sold-out show was filmed at Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival. The special is executive produced by Gabriel Iglesias, John Bravakis, Joe Meloche. Directed by Manny Rodriguez. Iglesias has more than two decades of comedy under his belt, from series such as “All That” in 2000 to compete on “Last Comic Standing” in 2006. In 2011 he had a stand-up comedy showcase on Comedy Central and currently, he also hosts Nickelodeon’s competition program “Unleashed.” In addition to live-action performances, he has lent his voice to projects including “Family Guy,” “Planes” and the upcoming “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” in which he voices Speedy Gonzalez, and in “Blazing Samurai,” an animated action-adventure comedy inspired by “Blazing Saddles.”
