During a recent appearance at The Funny Media Group’s Comedy Cube, Jamal Doman would use his high urban IQ to make the crowd laugh all-night long recording his latest comedy special in the process entitled Intelligent Hood.
Jamal Doman: Jamal Doman is what we call “your favorite comedian….favorite comedian. The 25 year Comedy Veteran is one of the most “respected” comedians in the game. A journey that started in his hometown of Philadelphia and now resides in Los Angeles has been very fulfilling for “The People’s Champ!”.
Jamal has been seen on Comics Unleashed, BET ComicView, Fox Soul, All Def Digital, It’s Showtime At The Apollo, Who Wants To Date A Comedian, SiTV Latino Laugh Festival, Martin Lawrence 1st Amendment, Byron Allen Comedy.TV, & AspireTV “We Got Next”. Jamal is also an accomplished stage actor that has been seen in movies like “Repos” with Master P., “Sailboat” with JK Simmons , “The Greatest Song” with Aida Rodriguez, & “Streets” with Meek Mill and Nafeesa Williams. Jamal was a cast member on TruTV Laffmobb Lafftracks.
One of Jamal’s greatest joys is performing for our US troops with the USO. He has performed all over the world in Korea, Japan, Guam, Iceland, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Djbouti, Africa.
Jamal also is the co-host of the popular “Dope Dealers” podcast with his partner Tobe Hixx. The podcast has a devout following. Jamal also is the creator/host of “Funny Talk”, a one on one interview show that gives viewers an inner look at the life of stand up comics.

The Comedy Cube is building a platform for the funniest entertainment in the world. Their Los Angeles facility was created for comedy shows with a live audience. They’re are producing 15- to 30-minute specials, for both up-and-coming and established comedians.
Funny Media Group has now fully transitioned into comedy development as the vehicle to achieve a cash-flow positive operation and to provide the best return on shareholder’s investment. The shows are filmed in the Comedy Cube, Funny Media Group’s state-of-the-art facility in downtown Los Angeles. Shows are released on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Owner Rondell Fletcher has an extensive background in production and media. He has owned his own production studio in Los Angeles for the past 19 years and has produced national shows for CNN, FOX, Food Network and Comedy Central, among others. The short-term goal for Funny Media Group is to produce content for streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon with the long-term goal of building a large media catalog for acquisition.
