How did you discover your passion for comedy:
When I tried to quit and I never could do it 100%.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
The adrenaline

How would you describe your comedic style:
Alt Black

Describe your process for comedic writing:
I think about things I notice whether it’s something I did or thought, I break it down write a premise then go perfect that premise on stage and adlib the rest.

Describe the comedy scene in your area:
Most rooms aren’t worth it but the younger comics are all cool.

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
I judge my own personal success off of me doing it for a living or not. I don’t judge anyone else’s success because that’s personal.

Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Marcus Cox, Roxxy Haze, Ed Bailey, & Luis Arevalo

What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
Traveling to New York City for the first time in my life with my good friend Andreas, who also does comedy.

What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
There’s no such thing as failures. Only lessons to be learned. Which is a different kind of W in my opinion.

How do people react towards you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
They don’t care. I don’t blame them though because I don’t care either.

Describe building a career in stand-up comedy:
Annoying.

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
Politics. It would be more fair.

Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
Keep doing you, the right people will find you.

If you were releasing a comedy special this week, what would it be called:
“Misfit”

I haven’t met many celebrities.

Weirdest place you’ve ever performed any form of comedy:
My living room. Living room shows aren’t weird but it’s different when it’s your living room.

Where would you like your laughs to take you:
Comedy Central. 1 mainstream comedy movie and hopefully 1 million online followers.

What would you tell a potential comedian if they ask you how they can own the laughs:
Be unapologetically yourself and don’t be afraid to open up to the crowd.

What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
I think it’s going to an interesting place. A lot of interesting perspectives I believe are coming up and it’s ever evolving and becoming more complicated so because of that, it’s getting more creative. It’s exciting to me.

If you could write one episode for one classic TV sitcom which show would it be and give a brief detailed sentence on the episode:
Everybody Hates Chris. I don’t know what I would write, but it would be that.

If you could choose 1 comedy club and 3 comedians to perform with on your perfect comedy show, how would it go:
Wouldn’t call it a perfect comedy show because it’s not perfect if all my guys aren’t on it but 3 comics I’d love to perform with Jak Knight (RIP), Sam Jay, Kevin Hart.

What’s next for you:
I’m filming a comedy special on 1/26/23 in Chicago at the Lincoln Lodge and filming another special in Pittsburgh on 2/9/23.

Why should a person always laugh at life:
A person should always laugh at life because if we take life to serious we miss a lot of moments not only to live but to have fun. Laughing is also a crucial part of life, which is why we’re born with the ability to do so.
