Many legendary comedians have been able to take their darkest pain and turn it into some of the greatest form of art that the world has ever seen. Following in those footsteps is a Los Angeles, California jokester who suffered great loss in life, but found a way to pay homage for all the world to see.

Comedian Drew Landry begins 2023 with a retrospective mini-comedy special honoring two of fallen friends entitled All My Friends Are Dead.

Filmed at the LA Connection Comedy Theater in December 2022, Landry shares various stories regarding two childhood best friends who passed away in 2001 and 2021. Drew also uses the experience to explore grief, trauma, and mental health when it comes to dealing with the loss of family and friends.

Drew Landry: Drew Landry is a stand-up comedian & writer from Baltimore, Maryland, but currently based resides in Los Angeles, California. Landry started doing comedy when he was 13, and went on tour with Carlos Mencia a week after graduating high school. He has also toured as an opening act for Dana Gould and Iliza Shlesinger. 

Landry performed at Just For Laughs in Vancouver in 2022. He has also performed at The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, The San Diego Comedy Festival, headlined The Charm City Comedy Festival, and he hosts the monthly show Salty AF at the Hollywood Improv.

Landry writes the humor section for the popular hip-hop site DJBooth, as well as video essays for the YouTube channel HipHopMadness, and was a satire writer for the college website Total Sorority Move.
 
His articles on Medium have received a total of over a million views, including his piece “I Have A Theory That Donald Glover and Childish Gambino Are Secretly The Same Person” which went viral.

He was recently named one of the official top 50 Humor writers on Medium.
