The HoneyDew is a storytelling podcast hosted by comedian, Ryan Sickler. Inspired by Ryan’s adverse upbringing, the show focuses on highlighting and laughing at the lowlights of life. Appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, Comedy Central’s This is Not Happening, Viceland’s Party Legends and co-hosting The CrabFeast podcast for the past 7 years, have cemented Ryan Sickler as one of comedy’s premier storytellers.

Ryan’s 2018 album, Get a Hold of Yourself, was the #1 standup album on Billboard charts and the #1 comedy album on iTunes charts, reaching #65 overall. Additional TV appearances include CBS The Late Late Show, Tosh.O and Live At Gotham. Ryan is also an informed sports fan and appeared as a regular on Fox Sports.

Ryan is the Supervising Producer on Season 2 of Kevin Hart’s award-winning Donald Mac series and the Co-Executive Producer of the new E! series, The Funny Dance Show. He was the Senior Producer on the Comedy Central series, The Comedy Jam.

On this week’s episode, Sickler is joined by comedian Kelsey Cook (Self-Helpless, Wrist of Fury) as she shares Highlights and Lowlights of her mother’s progressive dementia.

Kelsey Cook: Kelsey Cook is the daughter of an International Yo-Yo Champion and a Professional Foosball player, which made for a humor-filled life at a young age.

Kelsey’s stand-up special was recently released on EPIX’s Unprotected Sets. She made her late night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, followed by A Little Late with Lilly Singh on NBC. Her other television appearances include Comedy Central’s This is Not Happening, AXS TV Presents Gotham Comedy Live, Punchline on FOX, Uproarious on FUSE and Greatest Party Story Ever on MTV.

She is currently on “The Nice Try Tour,” headlining 40 cities across the country. Kelsey splits her time between Los Angeles and New York where she is a paid regular at The Comedy Cellar, The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and the Comedy and Magic Club.
Kelsey also co-hosts the Self-Helpless podcast with fellow comedians, Taylor Tomlinson and Delanie Fischer. It can regularly be found on the iTunes Top Comedy Charts and has featured guests like Brian Regan, Michael Bublé, Whitney Cummings, Tan France and Bert Kreischer.
Her foosball web-series Wrists of Fury currently has over twenty episodes where Kelsey hustles fellow comedians who don’t know she’s a World Champion foosball player.
