Netflix and A24 have released the official trailer for the Steven Yeun and Ali Wong-led dark comedy series Beef which is centered around road rage.
BEEF reunites Yeun and Wong on-screen in a 10-episode series, following the story of two characters who show great resentment over one another. The official trailer sets the tone for the series, showcasing the tension between Yeun and Wong’s characters growing by the minute. In a meme-able scene, Wong’s character Amy is seen pointing a pistol at her phone in frustration while Yeun’s character Danny appears to share similar traits to a pyromaniac. With revenge being at the center, Amy can be heard telling Danny, “I have a very full life that I’d love to get back to. I’m gonna find you and take what little you have.”
The series is directed by Jake Schreier and also sees Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, Patti Yasutake, Maria Bello, Ashley Park, Justin H. Min, Mia Serafino and Remy Holt star alongside Yeun and Wong.
BEEF arrives on Netflix on April 6.
