Tabari McCoy is many things: Single, a homeowner, a sneaker enthusiast, an autograph collector and movie fan among them.

He is also an award-winning stand-up comedian with two albums, 2013’s Laughing with a Panther and 2018’s Remarkable and a national TV appearance to his credit.

In his debut comedy special, Be Happy, he tackles several topics – the pandemic, education in America and modern romance – among them from his home comedy club, Go Bananas Comedy Club, in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Tabari McCoy: A fan of stand-up comedy dating back to when he would laugh at Laffy Taffy wrappers, Tabari’s sense of humor reflects a wide assortment of influences, speaking on everything from everyday annoyances to pop culture, sports and his own personal experiences. Tabari’s conversational, every man style has led him to open for a wide range of today’s stars, including but not limited to Tom Segura, Tony Rock, Tammy Pescatelli, Tig Notaro, Sarah Colonna, Clayton English and John Caparulo among others.

Tabari has also been honored to perform at several prestigious events, such as the illustrious San Francisco Sketch Fest, the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival and the inaugural Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington, IN. In addition to being featured on Rooftop Comedy’s Road Trip on the MavTV Network and Hulu.com, Tabari also starred alongside his mom in an episode of HGTV’s popular series Property Virgins buying his first home … Hence the reason he would really appreciate you supporting his career.

With his debut album Laughing With a Panther (2013 Rooftop Media), his sophomore album Remarkable (2018 Rooftop Media) and his national TV debut on Laughs under his belt, Tabari is now looking forward to whatever the future holds … Which includes his upcoming third album, Be Happy (2023 Helium Comedy) and upcoming streaming special of the same name as shot by Four By Three Productions.

A prominent writer, Tabari is also the creator & proprietor of “McCoy On Movies,” his independent blog about all the films he sees. Additionally, his work has been featured prominently in several outlets near his Cincinnati home including Xavier University, Mount Saint Joseph University and the Northern Kentucky Business Journal as well as Ebony.com among others.

But no matter what he says, he does it with one simple goal in mind: Making people laugh – and hoping he doesn’t anger his family or God in the process.

Four by Three Productions: Four by Three Productions is an indie film production + distribution company based in Cincinnati, OH. A self-described businessman with an artist’s heart, Chase Crawford began the company at age 20, shortly after losing his job at a sports media company in Chicago. Four by Three has produced award-winning, cinema-quality commercials, music videos and films since 2017; generating millions of views for the clients, artists and filmmakers we’ve partnered with. While the pandemic interrupted many of the Moondance premieres, Crawford said momentum was on his side and Four by Three had a steady slate of projects under production or getting ready for distribution. Over the past 4 years they have produced over a dozen feature films, a streaming series and several commercials and music videos. They have worked with everyone from nurses and truck drivers, to familiar faces like Adam Conover, Sinbad and SAG Award winner Joe Chrest (Stranger Things). The company makes everything from commercial ad-spots to music videos to documentaries to comedy specials. Producing ventures in various cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Oakland, Cincinnati, and Scranton; Four by Three projects are streamed by more than 2 million people annually, statistics that earned the company and Crawford a spot on Forbes Next 1000 list.
