How did you discover your passion for comedy:
A church talent show.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
Just because you kill the first time doesn’t mean it will always be like that.

Edgy and Silly.

Describe your process for comedic writing:
Manic, tight, and punchy with an occasional story.

Describe the comedy scene in your area:
It’s LA, so it’s about the industry but outside the clubs, some cool independent shows are happening.

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
Make a living from telling jokes. You’ve won.

What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
My first TV appearance Showtime’s “White Boyz in the Hood.”

What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
Failures? Nothing is a failure but a new direction, all something you can learn from, and don’t get too drunk.

How do people react toward you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
It depends; they usually have fun with me because they are funny or want me to tell them a joke.

Describe building a career in stand-up comedy:
Write, stage time, and repeat

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
Audiences would seek out more independent comedy on their own and not only be influenced by popular marketing.

I scared Christopher Walken at a museum once.

It looks good. It’s as popular as ever until the new Karokee comes along.

Small Wonder, The robot daughter has a glitch and murders the entire family.
