Hosted regularly by comedians Erik RiveraSasha Merci, and Jesus SepulvedaThree G’s In A Pod is a place where people can disconnect and hang out with their favorite comedians.

Each week, they discuss the latest and greatest, whether they’re watching viral videos, sharing stories of growing up Latino, or telling their dating horror stories.

The Gs plan to bring a healthy sense of humor to every topic.

This week, the hilarious Jonna Hausmann pulls up! The G’s chat about cultural differences, social norms, and tap into different Latino accents.

So get ready and grab some snacks as Joanna Haussmann kicks it with the Three G’s.

Jonna Hausmann: Joanna is a Venezuelan-American comedian, writer and actor who gained popularity through her videos on YouTube and as head-writer/talent on Univision’s digital platform “Flama”.  Her viral creations have garnered over 100 million views and have been featured in places like CNN, NPR, and the BBC. Her biweekly show “Joanna Rants” has collectively reached over 70 million views and has attracted an international fan club of people who claim she looks like British survivalist Bear Grylls.

Hausmann is a correspondent on the three season’s Netflix’s series “Bill Nye Saves The World” and was named the shows “unlikely science star” by Inverse Magazine. Joanna voices the alien villain on the Disney Channel series “Milo Murphy’s Law” and a recurring character on the upcoming TV animated spin-off of “Monsters Inc” “Monster’s at Work” along with John Goodman and Billy Crystal. She is also a cast member for the upcoming CBS animated series “Harper House.” She has written for TV – including the Stephen Colbert produced pilot “Old News” and was a staff writer for TruTV’s sitcom, Tacoma FD. She is currently the head-writer on Disney Channel’s upcoming comedy series “Hamster and Gretel.” She is also adjunct-lecturer at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.

Her work won her “Best Comedian” and “Creator of the Year” in Hispanicize’s 2016 Tecla awards.  She was also honored by the National Hispanic Media Coalition with the 2018 award for “Best Online Storyteller.”

Although (accidentally) born in the small town of Royal Leamington Spa in England, Joanna and her family are wholeheartedly from Caracas, Venezuela.

Catch her performing as a house performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater or dramatically fumbling for her Metro Card right as the subway arrives at any station in New York.

Jesus Sepulveda:
Jesus Sepulveda, is the youngest up and rising latino comedian in the Los Angeles comedy scene. His material gives us his perspective on the latino culture and where it stands right now. He also speaks about his upbringing in his childhood stories where his characters and energy paint a perfect picture of his past. Not only does he paint a better picture but he has gained a following who can relate to him and can walk away from his show feeling like they gained a friend.

Born in the city of Los Angeles and later a resident of Tucson, Arizona he was the oldest of the boys and the tension breaker, aka, the wild child. Always known as the funny kid even at a young age, he performed in grammar school to get out his passion to make people laugh. Stand up came into play at the tender age of 15 at a local comedy club. A few years later, Jesus decided to move back to LA in November of 2009 and has been in the comedy scene ever since.

In June of 2017, he was featured in Chingo Bling’s “They Cant Deport Us All” Special on Netflix. He will also be seen in October 2017 on the HBO Latino show called “Entre Nos” where he performs a 25 min on his family standup material.

Early 2015, Jesus received a big break by becoming a top finalist on the NBC Diversity Showcase where they selected 8 standup comedians out of a thousand country wide. Jesus was able to show off his storytelling, like ability, and energy all through his performance on stage.
