Girls on Guys is a dating and relationship horror stories podcast hosted by comedian Nina Tarr.

Each episode features a different set of comedians, who does their best to explain their embarrassing mistakes in sex and comedy by sharing their own strange encounters.

Titled Follies of Butt Eating, the episode features hilarious stand-up comedians and self-proclaimed “very single” Steph Tolev and Greg Barris.

From decoding fake flirting to mastering the art of letting someone down gently, we’re diving into the crazy world of modern dating. The dos and don’ts of sending a d*ck pic and what they’ll do with the unsolicited ones. They share tactics for online dating, meeting people in person versus the apps and the deception of love bombing. Buckle in babies cause it’s a rollercoaster of funny insights.

Girls on Guys Host:
Nina Tarr: Nina Tarr is a Persian-American stand-up, actor, writer, and producer, from Southern California. She was recently honored as a New Face of Comedy at Just For Laughs. She is a featured storyteller on Viceland’s PARTY LEGENDS. She is a TV writer on MOSTLY 4 MILLENNIALS on ADULT SWIM. Nina’s also written and starred in popular videos for BUZZFEED. She played a co-starring role in the DOPE STATE for Starburns Industries and played a lead role in the short film, CAR STEALERS. She recurred on MTV’s HIGH CRIMES and starred as herself in the MTV pilot, FLICKERLAB. Before that, she played the lead role of Veronica in the indie feature RED RAINCOATS. She also just wrapped production playing a lead role on her second feature comedy, ADVENTURES IN SUCCESS. In 2017 she performed standup on a 6-week US and Canada tour featuring for an experimental pop musician, Ariel Pink.

This Week’s Special Guests:
Steph Tolev: Steph Tolev is a stand up and sketch comedian from Toronto, Canada currently living in Los Angeles. Her unique brand of absurd and personal comedy has made her an audience favorite across North America both on stage and on television. As a stand up, Steph has done the  prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal four times, three of which were taped for TV and air on the Comedy Network. Steph made her American TV debut on on Comedy Central part of Bill Burr’s new show “The Ringers”.  She was recently named one of Vultures “Comics You Should and Will Know” and one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” comics to watch. She also co-wrote and co-stars in the Comedy Central web series ” Steph & Deb” with comedian Deb Digiovanni.   Steph can also be seen in the Amazon show “Please Understand Me” produced by Sarah Silverman and was featured in season two of “Corporate” on Comedy Central.  Steph has won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Stand up and was a finalist in Sirius XM’s next top comic.

She was well-received at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Fest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Clusterfest, Laughing Skull Festival, San Fran Sketch Fest, High Plaines,  Big Sky Festival, Montreal,  Toronto and Vancouver Sketch Fest’s, NXNE, and JFL42.  Steph has released four albums, “So Many Wolves” in 2014 with her sketch duo Ladystache and most recently “Older & Wider”. On her own she has ” Hot N’ Hungry” from 2016 and just recently “I’m Not Well”  that was nominated for a Juno Award for Best Comedy Album. 

Greg Barris: Greg Barris is a staple in New York’s downtown stand-up scene and is the creator of Heart Of Darkness: a psychedelic showcase of comedy, live music and fringe scientists that has been a frequent Time Out New York critic’s pick, much loved by BrooklynVegan and hailed as ‘Excellent’ by The New Yorker.  Comedians who have appeared on Heart of Darkness include Reggie Watts, Fred Armisen, Janeane Garofalo and Jim Gaffigan.
 
In Fall 2012, Barris announced the release of his debut comedy album SHAME WAVE.  Recorded in the spring in NYC, SHAME WAVE features Barris, whom PAPER describes as “the perfect combination of very good looking, hilarious and super-weird,” at his charasmatic best.  aspecialthing Records will release SHAME WAVE on October 9th.
 
In addition to curating and performing every sold out Heart of Darkness live show, Barris’ boundless talent and energy is also showcased on his pop fantasy comedy album as the Wigmaker’s Son. Wigmaker’s Son ‘Greatest Tits’ lp is the wholly original Zappa-meets-Lonely-Island creation from Barris and guitarist / visual artist Dima Drjuchin (Corrupt Autopilot). The album, out Spring 2012 and featuring songs from Heart of Darkness, takes listeners on a magic carpet ride through time waves, anoints Tom Selleck as a baby saving mustachioed saint, makes things better, puts the reptilian army on notice and forgives all your sins. 
 
The well-rounded Barris’ comedic shorts have been featured on Funny or Die, College Humor and Jay Leno’s Laugh Squad to name a few.  He has been a commentator on MTV’s All That Rocks and MTV’s Warren The Ape.
