During a recent performance at Chocolate Sundaes inside of The Laugh Factory Comedy Club, comedian Shawn Morgan delivered an origin story unlike anything that you’ve ever heard before.
He has been proclaimed by many as the most talented comedian to come out of Chi-Town since his and mentor Mr. Mac. Shawn drew his inspiration from the likes of Eddie Murphy, Eddie Griffin and others to take his natural born gift of comedy to stages all across the nation. He has preformed at legendary venues such as the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Laff factory in Los Angeles, Civic Center in Atlanta and has appeared multiple times on BET’s critically acclaimed series “Comic View.” He has been a winner or finalist in multiple comedy competitions that include his phenomenal performances in the Miller Genuine Draft comedy searches before winning “The Comics on Fire” comedy competition. Shawn also appeared on the “Queens of Comedy” tour. He has opened up with stomach busting performances for famous comedians: DL Hughley, Earthquake, Dee Ray, Damon Williams, Arnez J and Katt Williams to name a few. Shawn is doing it all and is gaining a following among comedic enthusiasts and fans nationwide.
From a humble stance Shawn takes nothing for granted and infuses his all into every aspect of his performances. He credits his humorous yet clever on-stage antics with exploring real life situations that he morphs into a stunning showcase; providing an all-encompassing comedic experience for audiences to remember.
