The HoneyDew is a storytelling podcast hosted by comedian, Ryan Sickler.

Inspired by Ryan’s adverse upbringing, the show focuses on highlighting and laughing at the lowlights of life. Appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, Comedy Central’s This is Not Happening, Viceland’s Party Legends and co-hosting The CrabFeast podcast for the past 7 years, have cemented Ryan Sickler as one of comedy’s premier storytellers.

Ryan’s 2018 album, Get a Hold of Yourself, was the #1 standup album on Billboard charts and the #1 comedy album on iTunes charts, reaching #65 overall. Additional TV appearances include CBS The Late Late Show, Tosh.O and Live At Gotham. Ryan is also an informed sports fan and appeared as a regular on Fox Sports.

Ryan is the Supervising Producer on Season 2 of Kevin Hart’s award-winning Donald Mac series and the Co-Executive Producer of the new E! series, The Funny Dance Show. He was the Senior Producer on the Comedy Central series, The Comedy Jam.

In this week’s episode of The HoneyDew, Ryan Sickler is joined by comedian Kountry Wayne.

Wayne shares with Ryan the highlights and the lowlights of having 10 kids by the age of 35, and his mother’s death when he was 11.

Kountry Wayne: Wayne Colley, better known as “Kountry Wayne,” is not your average standup comedian. If you asked him to describe himself, he would say he is just a reserved vegan and father of eight who wants what’s best for his kids. Hailing from Millen, Georgia, Wayne grew up with aspirations of becoming a super-star rapper, however those ambitions quickly changed when he posted a video to Facebook and became a viral sensation overnight.

Wayne attacked his new found fame head on and grew his audience to over 4 Million followers across Facebook & Instagram by delivering amazing content on a daily basis. Never willing to say no to a fan, Wayne heeded their calls when asked to perform standup comedy. He initially started performing in small clubs in Atlanta and by 2016 had embarked on a 45 city sold out tour (2016 Child Support Tour). Since then Wayne has consistently performed year-round, regularly selling out clubs & theaters across the country to a diverse, wide-reaching audience with his unique brand of high energy, faith based, and clean content.

Wayne still resides in South Georgia where he runs two successful business in addition to his presence online and on the road. With his humble roots and unbridled energy it’s clear Wayne will be making people laugh for years to come.

Kountry Wayne was named one of Variety‘s 10 Comics to Watch in 2021 and his digital sketches are popular with his many fans. He has appeared on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out and in the film, Holiday Heartbreak, among other projects.
