Misery Loves Mandy is a Mostly Happy Podcast hosted by comedian Mandy Martino; weekly comedians discuss miserable moments and whether or not they made them into jokes.

Mandy Martino: Mandy Martino is a stand-up comedian, writer and actress. Originally from South Florida, Mandy received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Central Florida in business, which helps her professionally write dick jokes. While in college she began her comedy career at SAKs Comedy Lab and The Orlando Improv.

Once in LA she continued her love for comedy where she followed her SNL idols and studied at The Groundlings Theater and School. You can find Mandy performing stand-up all around Los Angeles.

In this week’s episode, Join Mandy and the incredibly witty Chase O’Donnell for a special New Year’s edition. Brace yourself for a hilarious ride as Chase and I dive into the unpredictable world of comedy whoas, sharing anecdotes that turned life’s miseries into uproarious jokes. From navigating the rollercoaster of 2023 to recounting dating escapades that defy explanation, this episode promises laughter, insight, and a unique perspective on finding humor in the most unexpected places.

Chase O’Donnell: Chase O’Donnell is an LA-based comedian, actress, and writer. She currently features for Christina P. across the US. Her two-person comedy show ‘Too Blondes’ won the Broadway World Award and received praise in the New York Times. Chase has been a fan favorite on notable podcasts including “Dr. Drew After Dark” and “Where My Mom’s At”.

She also writes for National Lampoon’s Final Edition Podcast. Chase was chosen for Best of Fest in the Burbank Comedy Festival and won the famous Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Contest. She enjoys tea, rainbows, and Disney Plus in no particular order.

Chase has recently performed live on the very popular internet stand-up comedy series “Don’t Tell Comedy” and her most recent comedy special “People Pleaser” is hysterically brilliant and is getting rave views such as in Paste Magazine.

“O’Donnell’s writing is effective in introducing us to her as a comedian and a person. People Pleaser proves just how much O’Donnell deserves a full hour to properly showcase her talent.”
