Chris Redd Announces “Workin’ On Me” Comedy Tour

After spending a few years dodging controversy and recently starring in a new Christmas classic, Chris Redd is ready to do some self-therapy with his fans on a nightly basis as part of a new comedy tour.

The SNL alum took to social media this week to announce that he would be embarking on the Workin’ On Me starting on January 25th at Laughs Boston Comedy Club in Boston, MA. Currently set to make 14 stops along the way, Redd will be traveling to Canada, Ohio, Texas, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Arizona, Rhode Island, Alabama, California, Missouri, and New York.

The tour is set to end in San Deigo, CA, at The American Comedy Co. on August 10th. Redd has also acknowledged that more dates will added to the tour at a later date.

Redd is an actor, writer, stand-up-comic, and rapper. He received the Emmy Award in 2018 for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the “SNL” song “Come Back, Barack” Redd was previously a performer at Chicago’s Second City.

Chris Redd is a repertory player on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and portrays Gary Williams on the network’s new comedy “Kenan.”

Redd currently stars in the Peacock series “Bust Down” opposite Sam Jay, Jak Knight and Langston Kerman, and has an hour long special in the works for HBO Max.

Redd starred in the cult-classic series “Wet Hot American Summer” and was featured in NBC’s “Will & Grace”, Netflix’s “Love”, Comedy Central’s “Detroiters” and “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents.” Additionally, Redd was featured as a 2016 Standup New Face at Just for Laughs in Montreal.

He appeared in the 2016 film “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping” and opposite Kathy Bates in the Netflix original comedy series “Disjointed.”

Redd can be seen in the comedy films “Vampires vs. the Bronx”, “Deep Murder”, “The House” and “A Futile and Stupid Gesture”, and the independent horror film “Scare Me

Redd’s debut stand-up comedy album, “But Here We Are“, was released by Comedy Central Records in March 2019.
