This week’s episode titled Quiet People are Monsters, comedian Ralph Barbosa stops by to talk about being in what Christina calls the “Chill Guy Club.” He also discusses his upbringing, how being a dad motivated him to be successful, and not having an oven. The two also cover topics like As Seen On TV gifts, colorism in Mexico, and why male comics like to discuss phalluses. During the show, Christina reveals she wanted to be a vampire and Ralph wanted to not exist for a couple years. He also wants to build a secret escape hatch from his closet to garage, which sounds rad. It’s a pretty mellow yet interesting conversation all around.
Christina P.: Christina P. is a Stand-up Comedian, Podcaster and Mother of two young, savage boys. Her one hour stand-up special, Christina P: Mother Inferior, premiered October 10th 2017 on Netflix to rave reviews with The Interrobang calling it “intelligent, thought-provoking and not to be missed.” Filmed at The Showbox in Seattle, Christina discusses the realities of motherhood, getting older and her own childhood. Her second half hour special is featured on “The Degenerates”, shot in Las Vegas in 2018 and streaming on Netflix as well.
Christina P’s hugely successful podcast Your Mom’s House which she hosts with her husband, comedian Tom Segura, is a top-rated comedy podcast on iTunes. Launched in October of 2010, the podcast has acquired cult-like status and continues to raise low and loose jeans worldwide. If you enjoy 7th grade humor, you’ll love Your Mom’s House. She also hosts the popular podcast “Where My Mom’s at?” where she discusses all things mom.
She and her husband Tom currently reside in Austin, Texas with their two sons. When Christina isn’t curating disturbing Tik Tok’s, she spends most of her time raising children. She has an intense love of dogs and believes anyone who doesn’t share this love is emotionally deficient.

Ralph Barbosa: One of the shyest attention hogs to ever do comedy, Ralph Barbosa’s disarming and laid-back style has made him a headliner across the country, and later this year, he will star in his first hour-long Netflix stand-up special.
The past year has been momentous for the 26-year-old. In August, Ralph recorded his first Netflix special; in January he made his debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and his Comedy Central Stand-up Featuring: Ralph Barbosa set topped 3 million views on YouTube.
In November 2022, Ralph starred in the HBO Max comedy special, Entre Nos: The Winners 3, and earlier that year his Don’t Tell Comedy performance was released on YouTube and now has over 4.5 million views.
In 2021, Ralph won the New York Latino Film Festival Stand-Up competition and in 2019 he won the Funniest Comic in Texas competition.
