Lauren Compton: The Dallas native has amassed quite the following across all forms of social media with her highly-entertaining content, although her IG bio recommends that you “don’t show your mom.” Actress and standup comedian known for appearing on Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here and HBO’s Here, Now. She also earned a leading role in the Justin Lin feature film HELP. Compton is a regular performer at various high-profile comedy clubs, including Comedy Mothership and Hollywood Improv.
This week, Compton’s welcomes stand-up comedian Luis J. Gomez.
No stranger to lies, Luis practically built a relationship on a foundation of them! But, that doesn’t stop him from learning from past mistakes and not letting bad habits keep him down. He and Lauren also cover superficial attraction, favorite munchies, threatening roommates, catfishes, dream vacation destinations, trust issues, paying on the first date, plus Luis tackles the Tasting Menu, and puts a cherry on top with a romantic gesture for dessert!
Luis co-hosted “The Countdown” on Sirius XM’s RUSH channel 93 alongside former UFC middleweight Champion Michael Bisping for 2 years. In 2017 they turned the show into the podcast “Believe You Me” which debuted at #1 in iTunes Sports. He regularly appears on Bennington, Jim Norton and Sam Roberts, The Bonfire and UFC Unfiltered.
Recently, Luis performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and was named a “Breakout Performer” by Time Out NY. In 2016, Luis started the GaS Digital Podcast Network with his good friend, and fellow podcaster, Ralph Sutton. He hosts three podcasts on the network (Legion of Skanks, Believe You Me, and Real Ass Podcast). That same year he co-created the comedy festival Skankfest NYC which has now sold out 3 years in a row and has amassed a cult like following among comedy fans world wide.
