Misery Loves Mandy is a Mostly Happy Podcast hosted by comedian Mandy Martino; weekly comedians discuss miserable moments and whether or not they made them into jokes.

Mandy Martino: Mandy Martino is a stand-up comedian, writer and actress. Originally from South Florida, Mandy received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Central Florida in business, which helps her professionally write dick jokes. While in college she began her comedy career at SAKs Comedy Lab and The Orlando Improv.

Once in LA she continued her love for comedy where she followed her SNL idols and studied at The Groundlings Theater and School. You can find Mandy performing stand-up all around Los Angeles.

In this week’s episode, Nikki Bon is miserable about her proposal, tampon mishaps and people who cut you off then slow down.

Nikki Bon: NIKKI BON is an American/Canadian comedian, actress, and writer. She grew up in Toronto with her single mom and grandma until the age of 11 when her stepdad came into her life. Being an only child, Nikki wasn’t the easiest kid to win over. She started acting at the age of 8 when she would play the role of “devil child” to scare off her moms boyfriends by locking them in the basement or faking sick so they would go away. Her stepdad appreciated pranks so she allowed him to stay and Nikki decided take her performances outside of home.

Nikki moved to Los Angeles in 2014, where she continued to perform with the UCB, and completed Groundlings writing lab, another prestigious improv academy who’s notable main company alumni includes Kristen WiigWill Ferrell, and Melissa McCarthy. Nikki has done stand-up at comedy clubs across North America, including The Improv, The Comedy Store, Yuk Yuks, Ice House, and Comedy Bar, to name a few. You can catch Nikki on season 14 of America’s Got Talent where she plays her iconic character “Insta Girl”.

Nikki is probably best known for her unhinged, self-deprecating, and dark humour. After all, she has been in a bank robbery, seen a plane crash and was recently reunited with her absentee dad who wasn’t around when she was growing up. So she was pretty much built to be a comedian. Not letting any life experiences go to waste, Nikki has started a podcast with her absentee rock and roll dad, where she hashes out their issues and tries to teach him how to be a father. In hopes of helping other parents or kids in their shoes. You can listen to Whoa, Dad! anywhere you get podcasts.
