How did you discover your passion for comedy:
Before his passing, my cousin had started out in comedy and made me promise him that I would try it. As a man of my word, here I am today.
What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
I was hoping and praying I wouldn’t forget my name.

I write every and any thought I have as they come to me, then I weave them together.

Phoenix, AZ is a phenomenal comedy scene that is infused with both young and veteran comics who for the most part, supportive of one another.
How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
If you’re working and getting paid on a consistent basis, then you’re doing something right.

What have you learned most from your failures in comedy:
There is no failure if you learn from it.
How do people react toward you when they realize that you can make people laugh:
They ask me to tell them a joke or want to give me a joke that I “can use” (Laughs)

Describe building a career in stand-up comedy:
This business is tough. Consistency and hard work, coupled with the desire to learn, are key. Be patient, and the opportunity that you’re looking for will come.
If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
Stop running the light (Laughs)
Best advice you’ve ever received from a comedian:
Always be who you are, and your true voice will come out.

Funniest encounter you’ve ever had with a celebrity:
Met Jay Leno at a gas station in Burbank, and at first I thought he was an impersonator.

My friend’s living room.

To travel the country performing and opening for a big name in an arena. I want to feel that energy.

Write and be as unique as possible.
What are your thoughts on the future of comedy:
Comedy is here to stay, it’s the balance of all the crazy that is going on in this world.
If you could write an episode for ONE classic TV sitcom, which show would it be:
It would be an episode of Taxi where Kevin Heart plays the roll of Danny DeVito where he learns how to drive a cab for the first time but he can’t reach the pedals.
