What does a long-running game show have to do to get another two-year renewal? Funny You Should Ask.
Byron Allen‘s Allen Media Group has ordered Seasons 9 and 10 of its nationally syndicated comedy game, taking the daily half-hour strip through 2026-27.
Hosted as always by Jon Kelley, Funny You Should Ask features a panel of professional stand-up comics who interact with contestants for cash, prizes and laughs. The stakes increase in every episode as contestants ask the comedians questions, with the comics giving humorous replies.

Since its launch in fall 2017, Funny You Should Ask has featured such talent as Allen himself, Anthony Anderson, the late Louie Anderson, Tom Arnold, Maria Bamford, Bill Bellamy, Adam Carolla, Cedric the Entertainer, Margaret Cho, Dave Coulier, Whitney Cummings, Bill Engvall, Vivica A. Fox, David Alan Grier, Kathy Griffin, Tiffany Haddish, Cheryl Hines, Gabriel Iglesias, Maz Jobrani, Jamie Kennedy, Natasha Leggero, Jon Lovitz, Howie Mandel, Tim Meadows, Jodi Miller, Caroline Rhea, Jeff Ross, Sherri Shepherd, Pauly Shore, Raven-Symone, Sheryl Underwood, George Wallace, Jimmie J.J. Walker, Kym Whitley, Harland Williams and others.
The show is carried in more than 90% of broadcast TV markets on independent and group-owned stations including AMG/Allen Media Broadcasting, CBS, Fox Broadcasting, Scripps, Nexstar Broadcasting, Sinclair Broadcasting, Hearst, Cox Media Group, Tegna and several others. It also is carried on AMG’s comedy.tv network, which is available in nearly 40 million homes.
