A career spanning nearly two decades, he has traveled millions of miles, bringing laughter to every comedy fan in the nation. But at times, you have to look back at everything that came along with the journey and cry tears of joy.
In his self-produced documentary Laugh Now Cry Never, Mexican-American star Alfred Robles looks back on his humble beginnings as a stand-up comedian, leading up to his rise through the ranks to become one of today’s most sought-after entertainers.
Alfred is currently embarking on his Banned In The USA tour.
Alfred Robles: Once the police academy kicked Alfred Robles out, he was able to follow his true passion of comedy. Since that fateful day, Alfred has developed his own brand of comedy that is characterized by the good-humored teasing of everyone he can think of. After two years of professional comedy, Alfred landed two big shows, the Loco Comedy Jam and the Latino Laugh Festival. The following years would blow his first two years of comedy out of the water. Alfred was able to show off his immense talent to Gabriel Iglesias, who was more than impressed. He toured with Gabriel since 2010 and could be seen on his #FluffyBreaksEven World Tour based on the FUSEtv show Fluffy Breaks Even. Alfred was then catapulted to new heights and was seen on NUVOtv’s Stand Up and Deliver, STARZ’s Staaand Upp, and Comedy.TV with Byron Allen. Gabriel then asked Alfred to come back and appear on the hit TV show Stand-Up Revolution and in The Fluffy Movie. Alfred can be seen touring around the country and in his hometown of Los Angeles.
