This week, Jessimae asks the big, awkward question: Are you grieving wrong?
She breaks down the weird, brutal, and beautiful parts of loss from how grief shows up differently for everyone and why there’s truly no “right” way to do it.
Peluso explores the clinical diagnosis of “prolonged grief” according to the DSM-5, reflects on how long Italians actually grieve (spoiler: forever), and introduces her own updated NEW GRIEF RULES for surviving loss without losing your damn mind.
From seeing her mom’s ghost in Italy to rejecting the idea that grief is one-size-fits-all, this episode is a real, funny, and sometimes haunting reminder that however you’re grieving…you’re doing it right. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a pet, a job, or just your damn mind this is your new grief safe space…with jokes.
Because even grief deserves a punchline.
