Netflix is once again hosting a showcase of up-and-coming comedians for its annual Netflix Is a Joke Festival.
Dubbed “Introducing…,” the showcase will feature 10 stand-ups who will each perform a 5-7 minute set across two shows in one night. The event takes place on May 8 at the Avalon in Hollywood, with showtimes at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The sets will be recorded and edited, and then uploaded to Netflix Is a Joke’s YouTube channel and social platforms.
In his Introducing… set for Netflix is a Joke, comedian Ruby Setnik uncovers the root of her daddy issues and recounts the first time she realized she had ADHD.
Ruby Setnik: Ruby Setnik is a stand up comedian . Her work has been featured on Don’t Tell, and Netflix Introducing. Described by SN&R as “charismatic” and “unapologetic” in her style of joke telling, she is not one to miss.
