Game Changer has closed the book on its latest season, but a new spinoff inspired by one of its best episodes will premiere this fall.

Crowd Control will send comedians on stage without pre-written material, where they’ll have to improvise jokes based on prompts and interactions with the audience. And everyone in the crowd will have an interesting story to tell.

“An old woman put a curse on me,” “I almost lost my virginity at an orgy,” and “I accidentally circumcised myself” are just a few of the wild tales folks in the audience mention during the Crowd Control trailer.

Each episode will showcase three comedians improvising in a room full of strangers. Like other Dropout shows, one of the trio will be named a winner, though in the case of Crowd Control, that honor is decided by the audience.

Crowd Control will be hosted by Jacquis Neal, who’s written for and performed on Dropout shows including Make Some Noise. Dropout staples like Brennan Lee Mulligan and Ify Nwadiwe will perform, as well as comedians Paul F. Tompkins, Jamie Loftus, Bob the Drag Queen, and many more.

Crowd Control takes inspiration from the season seven episode of the same name. It featured stand-up comedians Jeff Arcuri, Gianmarco Soresi (who will also appear in the new series), and Josh Johnson doing some impressive crowd work. Like with any episode of Game Changer, they had no idea what they were getting into.

The first episode will debut on Monday, Sept. 8. Like most Dropout series, Crowd Control will air new episodes every other week.
