Long Time No See the podcast isthe latest addition to the Consequence Podcast Network!

Each week LTNS hosts two of your favorite comedians from around the country!

They’ll field hilarious questions about their worst stand-up experiences, how they would pick up their celebrity crushes, what they would do as president for a day, and much more. But there’s just one catch: neither comedian knows who will be joining them on the episode!

Will it be an old friend or a complete stranger? Find out on Consequence’s latest comedy podcast Long Time No See!

Comedians Kat Bird (Sundance Film Festival nominee for Sally) and Ellory Smith (Robot Chicken, Funnilingus) remove their blindfolds only to discover they’d crossed paths at an open mic just two weeks earlier. But unlike their sets that night, there’s no preparation for what they’re about to say on Long Time No See: The Podcast.

The hour-long conversation that follows is an honest, funny conversation that some how spans nightmare comedy scenarios to surprisingly detailed insights into facelifts in one breadth. Joking about experiencing people who say, “That’s funny” instead of laughing, Smith reveals her deep knowledge of plastic surgery. Noting that people as young as 35 are getting facelifts these day, she jokes, “Wouldn’t that be so cool if you could like go to the Glendale Galleria and go in one of those photo booths and it just like gives you a facelift and you leave? I would be in that so quickly. But then sometimes it doesn’t work and you leave with like, ‘What happened?!’”

Bird, meanwhile, may be married and living with a bunch of bunnies (“I started with two and then they’d just be rabbit-in’”), but her romantic life wasn’t always so fulfilling. She tells the story of going on a dinner date in college with a crew team member who “had a moment” when the pasta arrived. “He said, ‘I just came in my pants,’” she recalls, and apparently he wasn’t lying. Even worse, they tried hooking up at the end of the night, failed, went to sleep, and Bird woke up two hours later: “I heard like, a stream and he was pissing on my laptop… We stopped talking after that.”

Smith tries to counter with an awkard date where the guy showed up half an hour late carrying a book his mom had written about his high school basketball career (“I think the real evil in the world is men with mommy issues,” Smith concludes), but I think we can all agree nothing tops Bird’s tale.
